Southeastern Iowa Destinations
Tuesday, April 23 - Wednesday, April 24
We're on the road again, and we have a packed itinerary for this historic bus tour of Southeastern Iowa.
On day one, we'll travel through eastern Iowa and take in the area's rich history at the National Czech and Slovak Museum, the Old Capitol Museum, the U of I Museum of Natural History and the Herbert Hoover Library and Museum. We'll even have a rare, exclusive tour of the Hoover Archives.
That evening, we'll get settled in at the Home Ridge Inns and Suites in Davenport before taking in the remarkable IMAX version of The Sound of Music.
Day two will kick off early with a hotel breakfast and tours of the Deere-Wiman Home and the John Deere Harvester facility. The afternoon will include a visit to the Putnam Museum and time to explore the Figge Museum of Art.
