Yes, in the “old days,” attendants would pump your gas and
check your engine oil when you stopped to “fill ‘er up!” And they’d give you a map and
directions to help you on your way.
This 1925 “filling” station recalls that time with visible
glass pumps, vintage signage, and other unique gas station paraphernalia. And the Cedar Falls Tourism and
Visitors Bureau provides the directions with maps, brochures, and booklets to
help visitors navigate the Cedar Falls/Waterloo area. 1st and Clay Streets, Cedar Falls
